Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

The stream is ended since they're now taking the phones for the trailer event.

That was so cool! We got to see some history in the making, and wow did that tribute to Leonard just get me, and Zachary Quinto's speech was lovely. ♥

They're still rolling. the viewership went from 1000 to 4,400 in about 10 seconds. lol

They're showing the start of the event again till the trailer is over I suppose.

Sorry, but this is ridiculous.

This is the kind of thing I wish was carried by a network. You want all fans to enjoy the 50th anniversary or just those in Southern California. There should have been an official live feed that was so high quality it couldn't fail.

Trailer, where is the trailer?
The people at the fan event are getting to see the trailer right now. We'll hear about it shortly, and then the official trailer will be released today (it's 12:02 AM here right now).

I have to say that Periscope.tv is just the worst. I had to refresh every 30 seconds because it would freeze, and it sure as hell isn't my 50 Mbps internet connection.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was expecting a quality stream via the official site, something along the lines of what Star Wars did from Celebration last year, with JJ and Kathleen Kennedy, culminating in the premiere of the trailer. This whole event tonight feels rather slapdash.

Mine wasn't too bad, until it spiked to like 1000 viewers. The Buzzfeed one was utter crap though. But that's kind of par for the course for Buzzfeed.
