Ye gods these livestreams are driving me nuts. The periscope.tv one is now sideways, and the Buzzfeed one just declared that the live event has ended.

Not missing much at this point. Film critic Scott 'Movie' Mantz is conducting trivia with the audience. (and no sooner do I say that than Stephen Colbert pops up on the screen.)
It's fun though. It's better than those anniversary specials we got on tv.
Yeah. I'm having trouble watching it too. Is someone going to host it in its entirety afterwards?

The stream finally straightened out in time for me to watch the Leonard Nimoy tribute, and I had tears.

There was a Q&A with Zach Quinto, Chris Pine, and Karl Urban. Then there was some Star Trek trivia. Then there was a special appearance (on screen) by Stephen Colbert, and then they did a Leonard Nimoy tribute. Right now, they're getting ready to name that part of the street they're on after Leonard Nimoy.
Leonard Nimoy Way. Beautiful.
