I did something similar. I won't pretend it's any good (because I'm kind of crap and it ends abruptly) but I used different music choices (no Star Trek music except for a cue from the first Abrams movie, I tried to make selections that make sense - from Two Steps of Hell's catalogue, as their work was used for previous Abrams Trek trailers) though admittedly I slapped a voiceover over it.

I didn't dislike the Beyond trailer for the record, I just felt like taking a crack at giving it a different spin.

Also, that was brilliant!!!

The imagery in Khan is just better than what was shown in Beyond, though. It doesn't have Fonzie-style motorbike jumps and other juvenile nonsense.
