Glad you liked it Hijol. Yours was funny too.

Seen during the alternate opening sequences of ENT In A Mirror Darkly pts 1 and 2, Russia's T-90 tank was an armored assault vehicle also used on Mirror Earth in the 20th and 21 century.

How about this for a cruise? Wish I could have taken this!

"
Seatrek 89 was an annual Star Trek charter cruise that ran from the '80's to the early '00's. Each year they would have Cast and Creators on board; sort of a Convention at Sea! Check out who was on this cruise!:

"In addition to Roddenberry, ``Trek`` celebrities planning to sail include Majel Barrett (``Chapel``), Robin Curtis (``Saavik``), Jimmy Doohan (``Scotty``), Walter Koenig (``Chekov``), Mark Lenard (``Sarek``), Nichelle Nichols (``Uhura``), George Takei (``Sulu``) and Grace Lee Whitney (``Rand``). Joining them from the ``Next Generation`` cast are, among others, Michael Dorn (``Worf``) and Jonathan Frakes (``Riker``). "Additional names will be announced. Also scheduled to appear are ``Trek``-related guests, such Andy Probert, designer of the Starship Enterprise."

In the Star Trek: Beyond trailer, Simon Pegg shares outtakes from the set of Star Trek Beyond - the duration of the clip is 2 minutes, 25 seconds.

(Wish I could actually load it, but the blocking software here does not allow it. :( )

1987 was the year Star Trek: The Next Generation launched. If you can, watch Chaos on the Bridge for all the backstage drama throughout the show's creation.

Next Gen begat 18 years of constant Star Trek on television, which after a 7-year gap is set to return in 2017.

This is an excellent and wonderful fact! :techman:

George Clayton Johnson, Writer of First 'Star Trek' Episode, Died at age 86.
He died on Christmas Day, Dec 25, 2015 .

He also co-wrote "Logan's Run"!

From the article;
"His script "The Man Trap" was the basis for the first "Star Trek" episode, which aired on Sept. 8, 1966. It centered on salt-hungry creature who terrorized the crew of the USS Enterprise."

"Johnson sold a short story that would serve as the basis for Frank Sinatra's 1960 movie "Ocean's 11" and the George Clooney-Brad Pitt reboot in 2001. He also wrote episodes for "Route 66," "The Law and Mrs. Jones" and "Kung Fu."

The things you learn in this Thread!!!
Wow, he was some writer! :techman:

86

1986 brought us Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Or, as everyone calls it, The One With the Whales.

I can't help but wonder how the Internet would react to this movie if it was due out in 86 days. A comedy set in the present day? No Enterprise? The crew are outlaws and flying a stolen Klingon ship? They initially wanted Eddie Murphy??

Boy, Howdy, I cannot see how Eddie would have worked in there...I like(d) him very much, but...

85 (days to the Movie)

By the Numbers! Wow!

Grace Lee Whitney died last year, the day before my birthday, at age 85.
William Shatner is 85
He is being sued by a man for $170 million, which is double 85

23
(days to the next Trailer)
