Star Trek Beyond ONE YEAR COUNTDOWN!

133

There's a Starbase 133 in Next Gen's "Remember Me", the one where everyone but Beverly keeps forgetting people. It was a reuse of the Spacedock footage from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

You know what else spins? My head, at questions like that. :lol:

Building on those^ a year before Remember Me, SB 133 was mentioned as a destination in TNG The Survivors. We never saw that arrival though as circumstances at the planet kept delaying their departure until episode conclusion.

In another appearance of that model, it is rechristened Starbase 74 in 11001001.

In TNG novel The Battle of Betazed, after sustaining damage in a battle with Cardassians, the Enterprise E limps to SB 133 for repairs.

Captain America 2 has already released the second trailer today. Let's see the movement of other films and Star Trek.

Excellent!

132

In a phone comparison by phonearena.com, they compared the below two phones, and the LG weighed in at a much heavier 132 g., compared to the svelt, nimble (USS Communications class - not really) NCC HTC ST handset, weighing in at 99 g.!

The things you learn in this Excellent Thread! :guffaw: :bolian:

According to Spock Prime in the ice cave on Delta Vega, he and Nero come from 129 years into the future (from 2258, placing the destruction of Romulus in 2387)

I like this Prime fact! This Thread and The Poetry Thread should be made into books! :techman:

Page 129 of the "WILL WHEATON dot NET" blog is called;

"50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong"

I have no idea what that means!

It is a tagline for his blog, I believe joking about bloggers.

Betelgeuse...

Betelgeuse...

Betelgeusian!

Appearing in TMP as extra in the air tram scene in San Franscisco, the robes worn by Betelgeusian were made from some of the finest fabrics in the Paramount fabric storerooms. Cecil B, Demille purchased the fabric bolts for a 1939 production. The estimated cost to create the robes is $10,000. (Making of Star Trek The Motion Picture page 129)

They later sold in 2006 as part of the Profiles of History Auction for exactly $1,000.

Of TOS Mudd's Women, Roger C. Carmel was very disappointed that a scene between him and Uhura, where he tries to persuade her to take the Venus drug, had to be axed for time. Starlog # 127, page 33.

127

I have noticed a very curious Google-phenomenon, while participating in this Thread!

Try Google-ing "127 star trek comments", and notice how many Star Trek sites have exactly 127 comments!

^About 30 more than it needed to be. :lol: ;)

@HIjol I know, huh.

While creating a synthetic Omega molecule, physicist Ketteract ripped the fabric of subspace making the Lantaru system impassible plus killed himself and 126 others.

Eh, boring. How bout this one...

Larry Brody, the author of TOS The Magicks of Megas-Tu, (also wrote VOY Tattoo) was very nervous as D.C. Fontana escorted him into Genes office to pitch the story to him. Turning Points in Television page 126.
