years ago, Astronomer Étienne Léopold Trouvelot observed and drew the planet Jupiter, and his renderings became very famous.
"The Star Trek tie-in is that Trouvelot’s famous drawing of The Planet Jupiter made an appearance in one episode of Star Trek: The Original Series. A copy of Trouvelot’s drawing shows up in the outer office adjacent to Commodore Mendez’ office on Starbase 11 in “The Menagerie, Part 1.” It’s back behind Mendez’ Yeoman/Executive Assistant–a gold-uniformed Lieutenant who, interestingly, wears the “Enterprise” arrowhead insignia on her uniform..."

Wow!...and the Newton-class USS Biddleford (NCC-0718) in Bay A-4 (lower right) is a design I want to dislike, but somehow I can't help but be intrigued by. There is just something about her... Great Post!

Curiously enough, in a deleted scene from ST:ID, the Biddeford's name and registry was seen on a Constitution-class heavy cruiser, styled from the Prime Universe. It was hung from the ceiling of Admiral Marcus's office.

There are rumors on social networks that Star Trek Beyond debut dates in Brazil and Argentina will change from July to August. In Brazil always release before that USA. I do not know if it's a sign that the debut may change again or only in a few countries.

We shall see if there will be an Alternate Countdown Timeline Reality...

...it would almost be Poetic!

Would not be the first time we had to adapt to shifting release dates :)

And HIjol, I love the Newton-class! I wish they sold a model of it.
