In the paper,
Star Trek: A Phenomenon and Social Statement on the 1960s
by, J. William Snyder, Jr.

Snyder quotes David Gerrold, who says,
"The ship had to be interracial because it represented all of mankind. How can the human race ever hope to achieve friendship with alien races if it can't even make friends with itself?" (Gerrold 152)*

A medically advanced species assimilated by the Borg, Species 149, possessed technology which enabled the Borg to reactivate drones up to 72 hours after death. VOY Mortal Coil

If you are an aficionado of "Star Trek" literature, there is a collection of 149 Trek books from all iterations of the Franchise, available on eBay!

I probably have a few of those around here somewhere.

In TNG Unification, one of the ships stolen from Surplus Depot Z15 at Qualor II for use in a surprise invasion of Vulcan was the T'Pau, an Apollo Class Vulcan transport.

A Last Unicorn card game supplement claims the ship had 5 decks and a length of 148 meters.

Indeed, HIjol, the evidence is compelling, which supports what TNG fans have been saying all along: STAR TREK: The Next Generation is a jolly good show!

I've never seen that one, that I recall.

"My love is a fever, longing still / for that which no longer nurseth the disease"

Attempting to rescue Lwaxana Troi from the clutches of the vile gangster Jabba the-, wait, I mean, from DaiMon Tog, Picard recites Shakespeare sonnet #147 as evidence of his love for her.

TNG Eposode: "The Chase" features Gul Ocett, a female Cardassian Commander with a four-billion-year-old genetic puzzle.

Every other source I could find had this episode listed as number 146.

Curiosly enough, Memory Alpha has it listed as 145.

^The week The Chase first aired was a very special week for me. :luvlove: Thank you for choosing that one. :)

After Voyager could have a daily short contact with Earth, Neelix placed 146 sequentially numbered isoliner chips in his hat for the crew to draw from thus setting the order in which everyone would have a turn contacting home.

I am glad, Keeper! If you are of a mind, please share the meaning! I like knowing that!
