They were not included in the normal figures so I added them. I have not seen an updated figure for it since the first week though.

Star Trek deserves better, but the mass populace just doesn't care about Trek anymore. The popularity of Trek in the 90s compared to now is night and day.

I feel like Trek was much more in the "public consciousness" than it is now.

I think there's just way more entertainment options now than there was back then.

The Numbers has DVD/Blu-ray sales as $28,189,025 thru November 27th which would include Black Friday and kickoff the start of the Christmas Shopping season for many. We'll see how high the numbers can get to through the December shopping period. Hopefully the Holiday can keep the average between 2-4 million combined sales a week through the 25th.

Um.. In 4 weeks of reporting yes. There are 3 weeks of pre-xmas season reports coming up.

Disc sales reporting has slowed for all titles. The movie got a slight uptick for DVD sales but DVD sales were 3 weeks behind and bluray is 2 weeks behind.

It would be misleading to lump other revenue streams with box office revenue. Home video has a higher profit margin (in the 65-75% range) than box office revenue (US is about 50% and overseas around 35%). So $32.5m in DVD/Bluray sales would be equivalent to about $45-46m million in domestic box office or $65m in overseas revenue.
