As my previous crossover project, Stargate: First Contact, will soon be completed, I thought it best if I have another one ready to go. And what do you know, I do...
It was the dawn of a new era for Mankind, ten years after the Earth-Romulan War. The Babylon Project was a dream given form. Its goal: to prevent another war by creating a place where Humans and aliens could work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call – home away from home for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans and aliens wrapped in two million, five-hundred thousand tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace.
The year is 2171. The name of the place is Babylon 5.
In the aftermath of the war, the United Federation of Planets is ratified in the Babylon system by the four allied powers; United Earth, Vulcan, Andor, and Tellar. Over the course of the next ten years, a large space station is constructed in the Babylon system, the home of a race made extinct during the war. The Federation’s military and exploration arm, Starfleet Command, administrate the station under the terms of the Babylon Treaty and representatives from all four powers, as well as ambassadors from Qo'noS, Romulus and Tholia, make a home on the station.
