Your replies are obtuse. Elaborate or stop quoting me.

Nothing in Discovery is more advanced then the TNG Era. It's all clearly primitive versions of that tech.

Well since your earlier argument only worked when you ignore "The Cage" then....

Spore drive? Where was that in TNG?

There's nothing primitive about any of the Starfleet or Klingon technology. Klingons have cloaking devices for a start but Enterprise already jumped that shark years ago so it's not just Discovery to blame.

Classified. Just like the Genesis Device and every other tech we never saw again in the franchise.

Well considering the series takes place 100 years before TNG, it must be.

The Cage then Discovery then TOS. It all fits together seemlessly from a visual and technological standpoint. Said no one ever.

Ignore the visuals. It's not the 1960s anymore. None of the TOS looks would fly on modern TV.

Genesis isn't classified in Voyager. Captain Janeway mentions it in her log.

''Considering it takes place 100 years before TNG it must be". And yet it's not.

Which clearly are more primitive because Starfleet can detect them now, which means the Klingons must improve the tech (or Steal the Romulan's) between the 2250s and the 2280s since Starfleet can't detect them again.

I wouldn't expect it to. The visuals have to be ignored. The more advanced technology cannot be. It's part of the plot.

The tech isn't more advanced. TAS had holograms.

Starfleet isn't supposed to even know about cloaking devices at this point. Watch "Balance of Terror".

    Different type of cloaking tech.

Well DSC actually does use those, or at least something that looks very similar.

Remember when Captain Janeway activated the Spore drive in Episode One of Voyager and travelled 70,000 light years back to the Alpha Quadrant? Me neither.

    Classified and illegal to use.

DSC already explained why it isn't seen again in the Season finale.

No cloaking technology at all. They're flabbergasted at the idea of it.

And no one else in 100 years ever attempted it again? Not even the Klingons, who are well aware of its existence and would gleefully use it to their advantage?
