This book will be released as a mass market paperback on Oct 28 and can be pre ordered here:

Nope. Just doing a friendly service for everyone here on the boards.:)
Then why mention this particular book. I read the first chapter and put it back on the shelf. I know plently of ST fans who wonder how this thing was ever published, we really didn't need to know it since everyone who wanted it has the HB and everyone who didn't isn't gonna buy the MMPB anyways.

So we are now self-regulating our posts re announcements of ST novel reprints we suspect that some people might not like?

Why not? To be honest, I really did wonder why this one in particular was mentioned considering it was slated in 99% of its reviews, both online and offline.

Because it smacks of curtailing free speech. Nothing wrong with Man of Steel pointing out the upcoming release of a Trek book on Trek Lit. Nothing wrong with you saying "Don't buy this book, I think it sucks." But you trying to tell Man of Steel he shouldn't be able to say it's coming out? That's wrong.

Of course, you still have the right to say it . . . ;)
