Star Trek 2009 trailer 3 - The Original Series version

Wow. That went up in record time. Somebody has a lot of time on their hands.

It was great to watch.

BTW, I am not Skai.

Darn, Protogenes. I just saw it myself and came to the site to post it. You beat me to it.

This Alan Rhodes (the guy that made it) is pretty clever.

Yay! Trekkies are fast! :bolian:

All the voices are wrong, aren't they? :rommie: I thought it was just Quinto, but Pine sounds like a Valley Boy and Urban isnt giving McCoy the proper Georgia lilt. The movie sucks already!!!! :klingon::klingon::klingon:

...just kidding. Just trying to fit in here. :p

You know, in all seriousness, that is a wonderful montage that really brings home how great the original series was.

Ok, am I a sad, sad fanboy? :)

Dang that was awesome. It's amazing what some selective crossfading and dramatic music can do to dress up some really familiar images.

Oooops. I chose my username after a dog, how did you get yours?

(Should I change? I guess I was here later.)

Skai, yes, you should change your name. Send a PM to T'Bonz and she will take care of it. It might take a week as she does them in batches but it will happen.

Seems like T'Bonz was fast. I hope this version of my userid isn't as close to someone elses.

Thanks & sorry for the confusion.

Well, those have at least a one letter difference, so I don't think it'll be too confusing. I'll add an avatar when I'm able so that'll also help. :)

Not really, no! There are no sad, sad fanboys - we are a merry bunch!

That being said, in my mind there is no real difference between TOS and nuTrek. I also have no problems whatsoever with the mirror universe and the different diverging and collapsing timelines in the Trek universe. Everything is part of a bigger whole. Perhaps it has something to do with my professional interest in Asian philosophy (Daoism anyone?) or with my soft spot for quantum physics, who knows?

Don't nail me down on it, but somebody (I vaguely remember it was a scientist) once said that 'Everything that ever happened and will ever happen, happens RIGHT NOW!'
