Star Trek 2009 timeline disruption, technology alteration

@Mytran - Thanks for the link. Seems like 90 LY is implied as by the time Archer reaches Risa he claims that's the furthest they've traveled which suggest Qo'nos must have been that far or shorter.

I do think the Warp chart should be the potential maximum and all speeds are then reduced down due to space weather (subspace and gravimetric conditions).
Even Warp One could still be a speed much faster than just the speed of light.

The "required downtime" you and DRT suggest could certainly cover long, long distance flights where they have to stop every few thousand light years for cool down and maintenance.

With regard to Qo'nos, I think it can be further out if neccessary. Here's the dialogue:

KEYLA: Is that your sun?
ARCHER: No, look just below. The yellow one. Do you see it?
KEYLA: It's so faint.
ARCHER: It's about ninety light years from here.
KEYLA: You're a long way from home.
ARCHER: Actually, this is the farthest any of my people have ever gone.
Archer's people (his crew) are all the farthest from earth compared to the rest of humanity; this could probably range from 50 to 120 light years without contradicting the captain's statement.

Hmm, the Qo'nos thing might be another strange multi-universe thing. ST1 and 6 it's maybe further than a 1000 LY and in ENT, it's under 120 LY and in STID it's perhaps closer still and/or moved to the Beta quadrant. Maybe Qo'nos is not a good yardstick for speed measurement?

Perhaps it is one of those strange "rogue M-class planets" that show up in Star Trek now and then.
