Good work, Adam! Drama, motion, composition, this cover has 'em all.
I wonder why the CX isn't firing everything she's got; one of the main advances with X tech is improvements in power generation. This means you can zip around at full speed and still power up all your weapons.
If you were to do the CX's phaser beams as dashed lines this would represent firing them in 'rapid pulse' mode, which most players would do when this close to an enemy. Or is that too similar to the phasers in Wrath of Khan and therefore running into Paramount's intellectual property rules?
I also wonder why the Andro is concentrating on the unfortunate Federation ship that's blowing up ( New Heavy Cruiser? one of the new war destroyer variants? ). Perhaps the Andro captain has never seen a CX before and is in for a big surprise...
Oh, and the navigation lights on the CX saucer are backwards, they should be red on the left, green on the right, as seen by someone on the ship who's facing forward.

Dang it, I meant to fix those nav lights ages ago, but I forgot.

I really like the andromedans in SFB. I think they're a really terrifying and alien villain, and I wanted to use them again for this cover because I probably won't get to for awhile.
