What a cool idea.
One I just came across today, from Mar./Apr. 1969 issues...at least as relevant today as it was 50 years ago:
Hey, we can't do that. If we did that, then the people who give us our memes would have to go without book royalties, ad clicks, and groupies.
Somebody should think about collecting all of Stan's Soapboxes in one volume.
I'm shocked that hasn't already been done. They would sell like hotcakes!
I had just assumed they already had.
Just watched Ant-Man and the Wasp...Stan's cameo was perfect! Great double entendre with the meta subtext.
Ya want meta, check out his cameo in Captain Marvel.
Not until it comes out on home video.
Good to know he's in it, though.
Why not really stick it to Marvel & wait for it to stream?
I have been, but the current forthcoming films won't be going to Netflix. Signing up for Disney's streaming service doesn't seem like "sticking it to Marvel," were that my intent.
Stan Lee tribute (not his cameo) from Captain Marvel. There are no spoilers from the movie in this.
Do we know if they are going to be using it for any other movies?
Guess we'll find out in a month. But this was the first Marvel movie released since his passing, so it makes sense to use it this time.
Did I call it or what?
^^ A No-Prize for you, True Believer.
Now we need a Stan solo movie.
So you did! Well called!
