Geez, who peed in your Cheerios this morning?

This looks to be a great pic about these two, with fine acting from the leads; I doubt if the filmmakers would ever disrespect Laurel or Hardy. Not everything made today is disrespectful, if anything, it's gone in the other extreme direction, IMHO.

I saw this yesterday and it's absolutely lovely. A little lightweight in places but damn by the end it hit me in all the feels. Coogan and Reilly are amazing, and a shout out as well to Shirley Henderson and Nina Arianda who do exceptional work as Lucille and Ida.

In my opinion, Stan is neither winding up Ollie nor is he mistaken. The vocal intonation and body language made it pretty clear to me that he was being sarcastic about London and its sights while apparently making a silly Laurel-like erroneous statement, and that Ollie appreciated his comment in both its senses.

Watching the film it's even more clearly a joke than it was in the trailer, when it was clearly a joke!

Saw the film today with hubby -- only about a dozen people in the theater. I really liked it. It's a slow, quiet film but the end packs a solid emotional punch. We both needed tissues at the end.

I'm really glad I saw it.

    That's a spot on assessment.
