Any chance you or members of your team might be interested in doing an interview for Fan Film Factor?
Keep burning those bridges....Awesome. Please e-mail me at info@fanfilmfactor.com and we can correspond directly. Thanks so much...and I am so sorry CBS are being such a-holes.
Damn, sorry to hear about this.Okey, we can finally talk about this...
On Wednesday 12th Sep we received a Cease and Desist from CBS requiring us to cease development. We made every effort to approach them to discuss modifying the project to meet their criteria, but they are refusing to even discuss the matter. We'll be making a longer statement on Discord shortly. We hope you enjoyed Stage 9 while it lasted!
From all the team, Live long and prosper.
I wonder if they see no benefit in commenting at this point. Those who regard CBS as a horrid monster will not change their mind just they explain themselves.CBS' response/lack of response to shitcanning Stage 9 is quite perplexing. They were quite informative when dealing with fanfilms, so why is this one suddenly calling for a different approach?
It's a shame, but it's their right. The main problem is not that they didn't explain publicly, but rather that they were uninterested in dealing with us privately in any shape or form. We made it abundantly clear to them that we were willing to change absolutely anything about the project they deemed necessary, including the ship or even the name of the project, but they only wanted us to end any and all development at once, with no chance of negotiation.
Did the YouTube videos for stage 9 have ads?
Sad but true. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that CBS' patience is wearing very thin. It's a shame, but it's their right.
