I never got to go either, although I do hold out hope that maybe it will get folded into one of the Paramount theme parks like King's Dominion.
That sounds likely. The Experience represents too big an investment to simply scrap it outright. While the attraction was no longer popular enough to serve as
the focal centerpiece of a major casino/resort, it was certainly popular enough to still be exploited profitably in another venue. Certainly popular enough to warrant placement in one of the many themeparks that are owned by Paramount/Viacom.
I'd say that it's likely that the ship and ride aspect of "The Experience" will "tour" the various parks, while The Experience's "museum exhibits" will probably tour various Children's Museums around the country, eventually to be permanently place in either the SF Museum in Seattle, or some similar venue.
And if Paramount/Viacom doesn't do this directly, you can bet that someone will buy the attraction from them, and tour it themselves.
While it's going away for now, I really doubt that it's gone for good.
