The good news is; it looks like Gibraltar's initial problems might be due to nothing more than an innocent misunderstanding.

The bad news; most disaster start out with misunderstandings. Things could turn really ugly here real quick. And I don't trust Ramirez to show an even hand here either. Perhaps Sandhurst can somehow salvage this mess. The questions is, can he do it before things turn really bad?

    Great stuff.

Sandhurst is to trouble what a magnet is to iron. I've no doubt this "misunderstanding" will lead to an escalation in trouble, with the crew of the Gibraltar caught squarely in the middle.

Nice save by Verrick, btw. Saved the Captain from a nasty head-ache, possibly much worse!

Ah, but was that Verrik, or the mind-virus?

Caught up again. I like how you've developed the Juneau/Sandhurst relationship. It's come a long way from "Embers".

I also liked the beaming into chaos scene. Ol'Sandy just can't seem to catch a break.

Cool scene-I left a thoughtful commentary yesterday about it and it doesn't seem to have posted. Sorry, not feeling as analytical today, so, Cool Scene!

After that incedent with the coffin, I don't think anyone will be objective anymore.

Gravity will be going on hiatus for awhile, seeing as though I've hit the big, ugly writer's block wall. Treacherous Waters will continue to it's conclusion, and I'll pick up Gravity at some point in the future when I figure out where I left my keys... and my muse. ;)

In the meantime, be on the lookout for the Full Speed Ahead / Gibraltar series crossover from Michael D. Garcia and myself, titled Chains of Error.

    Sorry to hear that. :(

I am glad, at least, to know we'll be seeing more from Treacherous Waters. :)

Is the promise of more Treacherous Waters and a highly anticipated crossover with FSA supposed to be some sort of bribe?!! It won't wash I tell ye!:klingon:

Wait actually it will. [Though a fiver wouldn't hurt]

Okay, it's been awhile, but I think it's time I revisited Gravity. I'm on vacation, and I'll be taking the opportunity to take this story out, dust it off, and see if I can't make some discernible progress.

    Wish me luck! :)

Dude-no pressure. I had the best plans to add to my latest story(s) while vacationing but having other fun sorta took over....;)

    Just caught up.

I have a feeling that Sandhurst isn't going to be Mr Nice Guy when it comes to a meeting with the union. All his forward-moving progress might just find itself heading back the way it came if he's not careful.

The desecration of the casket/flag will not go over well with Aldo Ramirez and I have a nagging suspicion that Sandhurst will also have a few choice words for those responsible.

I'm liking this a lot and IIRC, Verrik doesn't have the mind-virus in his head just yet, he has only been primed for it, just in case Juneau needs an out.

    Eagerly awaiting more.
