Official biographical history:

Captain Donavon Burke Didrik is a Starfleet officer of Norwegian ancestry whose career has been distinguished by rapid advancement, operational leadership, and extensive experience aboard both Miranda-class and Galaxy-class starships.

His early life is associated with an unusual rescue incident on Veridian III in 2351.

At approximately nine years of age, Donavon was discovered on the planet alongside his mother, Valkyrie, and another young survivor, Rabbitlee Summerly.

The rescue was conducted by personnel of the Newly Refitted Variant Excelsior-Class USS KONGO, NCC-18710, under Captain Brisk, with J. L. Williams serving as executive officer.

The Excelsior USS Potemkin NCC-18253 was also involved in the response to the Veridian system.

During the rescue operation, Starfleet personnel encountered the remains of two unidentified spacecraft.

Both vessels had sustained catastrophic destruction, leaving insufficient recoverable material for a conclusive determination of their origin.

Donavon and the other survivors were transported aboard the USS KONGO, where they received medical attention and assistance.

During this period, Donavon first met Jardak Williams, the six-year-old son of Executive Officer J. L. Williams.

Their acquaintance would eventually develop into a lasting personal and professional relationship.

Starfleet Academy and early service
In 2358, at age sixteen, Donavon entered Starfleet Academy.

He graduated in 2362, receiving his commission as an ensign at age twenty.

His first assignment was aboard the Miranda-class USS Tian An Men, NCC-21382, where he served from 2362 to 2364.

During these two years, Donavon acquired practical experience in starship operations, navigation, tactical procedures, and bridge command responsibilities.

His performance earned him consideration for service aboard one of Starfleet's newest Galaxy-class starships.

In 2364, Donavon was promoted to lieutenant junior grade and transferred to the newly commissioned USS KONGO, NCC-71810, under Captain J. L. Williams.

The assignment reunited Donavon with the officer who had served as executive officer aboard the earlier Excelsior-class KONGO during his childhood rescue.

Command experience and the Tango mission
During his later service, Commander Didrik acquired command responsibility aboard the New Heavy Cruiser of the Miranda-class.

The USS Miranda NCC-21861 was Starfleets newest achievement of the Miranda Cruiser Class Starship, the Miranda's pulse mega phaser cannons were equivalent, and equal to the same firepower of the Starship USS Defiant, the weapons pod was of the Akira class Starships design, the Pod was smaller than the Akira's Weapons Pod but identical in design, still was capable of firing forward and aft Multiple Photon Torpedoes and Quantum torpedoes, The New Miranda was equipped with new Regenerative Shields, they're warp core was also a new achievement for the Miranda Class Starships it allowed the vessels at impulse and Warp to go faster than the older Miranda classes were able to. And Blade of Armors was also put into weaker sections of the USS Miranda's Hull.

In 2374, he participated in the Tango mission, commanding the USS Miranda and a formation of small wing of Miranda-class starships to attack the Dominion shipyard with Hit and run raids that allowed the rest of the battle group under the command of acting Admiral Edward Jellico and Captain Jason Aubrey who was in command of the USS intrepid which had been newly refitted.

The Old Excelsior Class Starship Intrepid had a old Registry of NCC-38907, however after the rise of the Borg activities, and the newly threat of the Dominion, Starfleet with Admiral Saavik was experimenting with ships using new technologies, the Starship intrepid was used for this purpose, but as the war Drew closer Starfleet decided activate the intrepid to full service.

The push for the intrepid was to be reactivated immediately and was given a new registration number of NCC-38957 and was under the command of Jason Aubrey.

This was due to the fact that the newly intrepid class starship was lost in the gamma quadrant, and then had showed up in some later time in the 24th Century after the Excelsior class intrepid was already in service.

The Excelsior wings as well as Admiral Edward Jellico, targeted the larger ships as well as the shipyard, Captain Donavon with several other of the Miranda Wing Starships also joined the final attack, the shipyard was destroyed and all the remaining dominion ships were all lost to the attack.

Donavon's Performance during this operation demonstrated his ability to coordinate multiple vessels, manage tactical engagements, and maintain command effectiveness under combat conditions.

The mission played an important role in the evaluation of his suitability for promotion to captain.

Following the successful operation, Donavon received his promotion to captain and was selected to assume command of the Galaxy-class USS KONGO, NCC-71810.
