ST and The Wizard of Oz

This thread reminds me of a pic I made for the Photoshop Trek thread long ago.

Although she's not TOS Trek I'll give y'all ONE guess as to who represents the Munchkin voices.

By the way, I heard a rumor that if you play the album "Dark Side Of The Moon" while watching a TOS ep, it strangely...

Ok, I'm just making that up out of thin air; I never heard any such thing.

Hope I haven't caused too many people to dive for their DSOTM cds and TOS dvds.

Kirk ... the Lion

Mother pussbucket, are you calling Kirk cowardly?!

No, no, because we all know "Oz didn't give nothin' to the Tin Man that he didn't, didn't already have".

But, yeah, Kagan's analysis is right, too.

And if I really stretch this metaphor, the Earth is Kansas, the galaxy is Oz, Starfleet Command is the Wizard, the Enterprise is the Yellow Brick Road but Warp Drive is the tornado.

The Wicked Witch is probably Q but that takes us out of TOS.

Actually, the more I think about it (and, for God's sake, someone tell me why I am), the Wizard is probably Roddenberry.

HAHA! Right on about Roddenberry!

Who would have been the Wicked Witch of the East? Khan?
