Spy photo with Starfleet Headgear?

So I was re-watching "The Cage" on DVD, and I spotted the "Starfleet Headgear" on Pike's TV. I got a fresh look at it and remembered one of the ST08 spy pics that came out several weeks back of a female Starfleet officer with a similar grey hat on.

Does anybody remember that spy photo? Can anybody dig it up and post it? It really looks like a good match between the two hats (The Cage and ST08 spy photo). They both seem to be patterned after the modern-day octagonal Marine Corps hat. Sorry if this was discussed weeks ago.

I just thought it was interesting!

Here is a shot of Pike's hat (to the left of Dr. Boyce), and part of the spy pic from STXI.

I see some similarities and some differences. Maybe the spy pick is a cadet and the hat in Pike's quarters was a momento from his Academy days.

I thought someone had already done the homework on this one. On the Spy photo, it looks like the hat may or may not have the same points as Pike's. Hard to tell from that angle & distance.

I guess we'll have the answer in 11 months or so.

The Starfleet Officer's tunic, jacket, pants, and boots are the department color.

The Starfleet cadet's tunic, jacket, pants, and boots are grey.

The 'cover' from The Cage was basically like a US Marine Corps 8 point cover. The grey color being the main difference, along with a different badge/logo...
