Sprue Trees? Where can I get them?

I am looking to build a Borg Cube. I want to build it the same way they did for the original cube on TNG, so basically I need some Sprue trees. LOTS of Sprue Trees. Since I dont build models of anything I dont have any lying around.
Does anyone know the best way to get lots and lots of Sprue trees?
I cant see buying hundreds of dollars worth of models just for the Sprue Trees.
Maybe there is a specific model that has lots of Sprue Trees?

I would do a search for forums about model kits, kitbashing, and customizing. Someone on said fora may be willing to sell/trade you their cast offs.
