Kids know "Baby Got Back." They may not know who sir mix-a-lot is, but they know the song. It's all over the place. What bothers me is that it's using a raunchy song from Sir Mix-a-lot to promote...kid's meals.
So? Most kids who watch this ad aren't gonna know who Sir Mix-A-Lot is, and will never have heard "Baby Got Back". Anybody who *does* know SpongeBob isn't likely to be old enough to recognize those. And if they are, I fear for them.![]()

My Niece has been singing it since she first saw the commercial. What bothers me is that it's using a raunchy song from Sir Mix-a-lot to promote...kid's meals.
I'm not sure if the likelihood of kids annoying their parents by going around singing "I like square butts!" makes the ad great or terrible.
