Either that or someone edited the scene and is playing us all for chumps.....

While the sudden absence of audio (except for the odd humming) as the suit opens is suspicious, I don't see how this could be fake--the CGI [alien race] matches the mesh used on the show in all prior occurrences, and in general, the CGI is too good to be some weird fan thing. I love it!

Either that or the SFX team is playing us all for fools to make the aliens be a true surprise, a way to throw off the spoiler hounds!!!!

I bet it is the race of the aquatic aliens that the one who abducted Jackson in an early season of SG-1 is part of.
