Spock's wife.

Maybe Spock was betrothed to T'Pring in this timeline.

And was getting some Nurse Chapel on the side, too.

"There's plenty of Spock to go around!"

Have you considered the possibility that this was the reason T'Pring left him in the first place? She gave him some bullshit about him being "a legend" and not wanting to be married to a celebrity. It would seem grossly illogical for her to just flat out say "I prefer not to get married to some halfbreed clown who walked away from the Vulcan science academy... c'mon, really? The science academy? What are you, an asshole?"

:rommie:

My pet theory has always been that T'Pring preferred a guy who was more of the doormat type. Stonn certainly seems to qualify. OTOH, she knew that any guy who would basically say FRAK YOU to the bigshots of the Science Academy wasn't someone she could push around. Eminently logical.

Even if T'Pring had never been born, he would have been joined with someone.

You know nothing of the kind.
It's Vulcan tradition. I seriously doubt the loss of the Kelvin would change that tradition.

So you say.

Marrying an Earth woman is not "Vulcan tradition," so the argument that such hypothetical tradition constitutes an iron clad code of conduct that a man like Sarek would have followed under any and all circumstances is a specious one.

There may, for example, have been a specific family reason that Sarek wanted his son committed to this particular female and that without this motivation Amanda's opinion on the tradition might have held sway. There is no more or less evidence to support that than there is to support your contention.

I seriously hope that we don't see ANY Vulcans we've see before. After all 99.999834% of Vulcans are dead. Crushed into subatomic particles in a black hole. They aren't coming back.
The entire Vulcan system should be gone by the next film. Wonder how the gravitational changes will affect its neighbors?
I think one of the big brains around here said that it woudn't really change anything in the Vulcan system. The black hole would have same mass as the planet or something like that.

Exactly. Just like if our sun suddenly turned into a black hole, nothing would change except it would be very dark and cold. All the planets and space bodies would continue orbiting happily ever after.
