Definitely. Spock is hotter than Kirk, that's the way it's always been and that's the way it's gonna stay, unless JJ Abrams really finds someone amazing to play young Jim T....

And furthermore, Spock is hotter than Soval. Hotter than pretty much anyone else in Trek, cept maybe Trip Tucker and Damar.

WTF, I guess I don't read those types of fanfics, at least not the TOS centric ones, but pretty much every alien species in Trek has been blessed with forked appendages, sometimes triply or quadruply (and that's not even counting prehenisle plants). It's almost as common a fanfic theme as male pregnancy.

I think it's one incredible video.... Fortunately it hasn't done any irreparable harm to my psyche. My internal images of Spock and Kirk formed over the last 40 years are pretty stable. I'm just glad the film wasn't of an unnamed Romulan commander bearing an uncanny resemblance to Spock's father. No! Please don't tell me if there's one out there!......

It's an old Star Trek joke. It's often referred to as "slash", and in fact "slash" fan fics started with Trek and are popular with fans of other shows. The "slash" refers to stories that match characters, sometimes in a homosexual relation. Such as... Kirk/Spock.

Yeah we should be proud that TOS has been so wildly influential in this regard that we must suffer through naughty stories, filks, fan videos and creative abuses of Photoshop proving that Mulder and Krycek really didn't hate each other (really really didn't), Jackson and O'Neill found time inbetween planting C4 on Goa'uld motherships for other activites and those darned Petrelli brothers have an unhealthily close relationship...

there is a FANTASTIC (and some of them are really, really good, I swear) K/S story around. it was written way back in the early 90s, I think, by someone named Killashandra. it's called Bitter Glass. if you find it, and are so inclined, read it. she's a great writer, that Killa.
