*Spock/Zachary Quinto Appreciation Zone*

That wasn't a wig! It was poor ZQ's actual hair with that terrible bowl haircut. LOL. There's quite a few pictures where you can see him trying to hide it by gelling it up and combing it to one side (along with the eyebrows behind thick glasses). There's a picture somewhere with a hat where you can see the razor-sharp bangs hanging down.

But yeah, the intention with the Spock hair is that it is well-plastered and unmovable. Which is why it's fun to see it move.

One of my favorite things in TOS/TVH is all the times Spock goes to a planet or a time where he has to hide his identity by covering his ears and eyebrows. It's always amusing to me. It would be awesome if the new series of movies ever incorporates incognito-Spock. Bring back the beanie!

Thanks for clarifying about the hair, Nile. I thought it was his real hair too, as Zach laments having had such a haircut for six months in at least one of his interviews. :lol:

Yep, TVH is when he became my "Uncle Spock" and I remember him tying that strip of his Vulcan robe like some hippie headband.
 
His headband makes me think he is going to be the lead in an 80's aerobic video. :D Well, the man is in good shape...


P.S. Anyone who wants to hit us with more Spock/ZQ picspam is a-okay in my book! No, Nile, I'm not looking pleadingly in your direction... why ever would you think so?

It's from Tori Spelling's (that's her) brief sitcom, So Notorious. ZQ was on it before he got Heroes.

That "Sybrow" picture was used in a poster advertising a ZQ and LN appearance.

I mostly remembered Zoë from when she played Anamaria in PotC ("You stole my boat!"). She was actually quite memorable there.

I remember that thread -- a casualty of timing, I think. In the week the movie opened, forum traffic jumped to about ten times the usual volume and threads were sliding off the front page sometimes in less than an hour. Topics which weren't constantly jumping to the top like salmon leaping the falls were just getting lost in the flood.

originally i was not so taken with the idea of him as a serial killer, but with the positive mention it keeps getting here i might have to check it out. any suggestions of a few good sylar episodes? i totally don't have time to take in another entire 3-season TV show.
 
^ Off the top of my head, one of my favorite Sylar episodes is The Hard Part. Its the episode that totally got me hooked to the character and Quinto himself. Heroes has been declining in quality since season 1 ended (I still love it though) but any episode with Sylar in it always has my attention. He always steals the show.

I know this is a ZQ appreciation thread, but I absolutely love how Urban looks in the pic with Quinto and Saldana.
