Replace the bridge module with WNMHGB one, and restore the exterior to the same epoch...
I think you spelled “person who shares his last name “ wrong.Gary Mitchell rather than his (ex?)wife?
Magic Eight Ball: Disappointment is highly likely.Still do not want any TOS reboot!!!
Replace the bridge module with WNMHGB one, and restore the exterior to the same epoch, and I might tolerate it.
I quite like her character. She conveys a lot without much dialogue.I think you spelled “person who shares his last name “ wrong.

I've worked with with people who have the same last name. On one occasion is was the name "Brown". So their joke was "What can Brown do for you?"It's still weird that two unrelated people, with the same last name, man the the same position on the ship, one after another.
Same, so while a coincidence I don't find it odd.I've worked with with people who have the same last name. On one occasion is was the name "Brown". So their joke was "What can Brown do for you?"

It seems like the spinoff show would practically sell itself. It has Kirk and Spock and the rest of the crew everyone knows. And the expensive sets and the CGI models already exist. All upsides in terms of name and social recognition and lower upfront costs than usual.Well, what they're pitching is the time between Pike first handing Command over to Kirk; and the second TOS pilot episode Where No Man Has Gone Before.
(Works for me - but who knows what Skydanc e Execs will think assuming they're even open to the idea of continuing in the 23c era; or continuingb Streaming new Star Trek at all after SNW and SFA finish in 2027.)
Sure, why notWhat are your opinions? For me this is a big yes.

'Star Trek: Year One' series with Paul Wesley's Kirk is '100 percent' dream plan (exclusive)
A 'Star Trek: Year One' series, about the first year of Paul Wesley's Kirk as captain, is '100 percent' the dream plan. 'Nothing would make us happier,' showrunners say.ew.com
Seriously? What I really want, is a full-on Star Trek reboot. No continuity, a completely fresh start and a serious take with new writers, producers and directors. And less quips.
