Still haven't seen the movie, all those spoilers are everywhere and I know about just about every twist. *sigh*

Anyway, this isn't really appropriate for the build-up thread even though everybody knows this by now.

Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men have official MCU designations. Toby is the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and Andrew is The Amazing Spider-Man. I think that's neat.

Yeah, that's why even though her fridging was awful, it kinda had to happen for the movie's ending to make sense. Peter wouldn't be able to deal with Aunt May being alive and not knowing who he was.
I wouldn’t say May was ‘fridged’. She was an active participant in Peter’s plan to reform the villains. Later, when Norman revealed his true colors. May became a target and combatant. She tried to defend Peter. Rather than running and hiding. She paid the price for that.

If May had no agency in the story (a la Barbara in The Killing Joke) or was collateral damage the villain took his boredom out on (Kyle Rayner’s GF Alex or Gwen Stacey). Then it would be a fridging.

That is indeed pretty cool. But what I find more interesting is that there are apparently "rumblings" about bringing back Garfield. Of course, those are all rumors but as already discussed in this thread, it would be very cool to see Garfield again in revived One-Shots or something similar.

Wait a minute...my memories a little old but is that really how the scream went? His face going back to being emotionless right after?!

This movie has a lot of dumb stuff in it, but all that dumb is in the service of things that are utterly delightful. So it gets a pass. Because when the movie is dumb, it's dumb. But when it's good, it's fantastic.
I think you mean amazing. ;)

I know this has probably been mentioned but Sandman didn’t die at the hands of spider-man. He wasn’t even close to being dead. Strange’s theory falls apart there.
Curt Connors didn’t die either. Maybe they meant the Lizard for him
