Why didn't he use the reality stone to turn everyone in the Titan fight into floppy slinkys?

Because he let his guard down at first and when he realized what was happening, they didn't allow him any time to act. Using the stones seems to take a little bit of concentration and effort.

Did you play Insomniac's Spider-Man game? He does it in that.
Oh yeah, I've played it, it's one of my absolute favorite games of all time.
He sounds the same to me

He wanted to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.

But we saw that after he left Knowwhere, Drax and Mantis returned to normal.

Could have done the same thing with Stark, Peter and the rest, rather than trying to crash a moon on them.

He'd have to hit them first, and they're both much faster than Mantis and Drax were.

All he would have had to do is close his fist.

Which the heroes knew and planned for and deliberately kept him off balance to prevent. It was a desperate play, no doubt, but it's not at all unbelievable that it came close to working in the end, especially since Thanos didn't know about their ace in the hole (Mantis) and therefore didn't fully understand the danger of the situation.

He closed his fist several times during the battle to use the other stones.

You can see that while the heroes are playing out their plan, Thanos repeatedly tries to close his fist and use a stone and repeatedly fails because he's constantly interrupted from an unexpected angle. He gets off exactly one use of the glove before Mantis shows up, which is a giant gout of flame - why use flame then rather than slinky power? Because they were attacking him with it and he redirected their attack back at them. It's a logical first step. Which he never gets to follow up on because of Mantis.

Fast forward to after the heroes plan has failed, and yes at that point he uses the stones more often. Including throwing an entire moon at them. One would think that's generally a more aggressive move than shooting slinky blasts, not a less aggressive one. And complaining that he doesn't 'use the right powers' during that section of the fight is quite strange to begin with, because as soon as Thanos throws off the heroes and foils their plan to steal the glove, he regains near total control of the fight and is never again in any real danger of losing. In fact, using the tactics he did use, he completely and totally thrashes the entire group with relative ease. So all this is really saying is 'why did he completely thrash all the heroes this way instead of totally thrashing all the heroes that way?' What it does matter?

You're not wrong, I admit. I'll chalk it up to Peter speaking normally and Spidey often being in action mode or something, that my mind gave him a different way of speaking due to urgency.

There’s no clear practical advantage to destroying an entire moon. The amount of rock he actually used in the battle was tiny, and available locally. And even if he wanted to use moon rock in the battle, he could have just taken the few thousand tons he was actually going to use instead of destroying the whole moon.

I really don’t know why he destroyed the moon. Maybe it was just a power trip. But even on a power trip, destroying a moon of your own home planet seems like a bizarre thing to do.

One thing I read that I thought was kind of cool, there are apparently slightly different versions of Spider-Man's lines during gameplay depending on if you are webswinging or not. Which is kind of nuts because it probably means that the actor voicing Spider-Man had to two different versions of each of those lines, and there are a lot of them.
