Damn, I didnt know Simmons briefly reprised the role in reaction to the events of Infinity War. That was...amazing.

JK Simmons coming back justifies this whole movie to me. It helps that a reviewer I like who also thought Homecoming was below average ended up liking Far from Home, and between that and the Jameson cameo (and hopefully having him as a side character in a potential third movie), I'm actually mildly interested in this movie now. Not enough to see it in theaters, but enough to watch it eventually.
I searched that on Twitter and someone had a link to the scene on YouTube. I doubt it will stay up too long! JK plays him the same but bald. To help distinguish from previous time on alternate Earth I would guess. I love that they are open to previous actors reprising roles. Maybe we might see previous X-men actors too. Does not have to be the Fox continuity.
Not really surprised. The new films are pretty influenced by the newer and newest comics.

I think the identity reveal will lead to Spider-Man getting to and/or having to join the Avengers, modern Marvel loves to have the Avengers be focused on.
