Spoilers Speculations On Upcoming Episodes

The Voyager J or at least an intrepid class ship is going to rendezvous with the Athena in an upcoming ep. There was ad for SFA that I saw before watching an episode of Discovery on P+. It featured a mix of scenes from previous trailers but had a bunch of new ones. One shot being of an Intrepid Class Starship dropping out of warp next to the Athena which appeared to be in front of some type of Nebula or anomaly. I couldn't rewind the ad and I haven't seen it since to try and get a screenshot.

What does "Mil" mean?

I took it as short for Milieu, meaning an individuals social environment.

That doesn't parse.

I think the show has yet to give us any clues what the “Mil” in her name means. Could be another acronym, meaning something like “Machine Intelligence Lifeform”. Or it’s an alien word, since she apparently wasn’t programmed by humans. Although that would be inconsistent with “series” and “acclimation” being English words.

Maybe it’s a typo and it’s supposed to be “mill”? “Mill” as in “processing system”.

The Synopsis indicates that Ake is going to to help Kelrec with some type of alien ritual.


In other news. I managed to catch the P+ SFA promo. Apart from and Intrepid class showing up. Nus Braka featured prominently and the scenes I saw point to him taking over the Athena and the Cadets having to save the day. Pretty sure there was a scene where someone says 'we're being boarded' followed by new shots of Braka and his crew walking through corridors. There also shots of the cadets in their tactical/combat gear on what appeared to be bridge, which was heavily damaged. There was a a lot packed in to the trailer so i maybe misremembering things a little.

Sounds like it’s a promo for the second half of the season post episode five. I wonder when that will show up for everyone online.

I’ve been looking again at the trailers they’ve released so far for the show, taking note of the shots that haven’t yet appeared in any episode, to get an idea what the episodes post “Series Acclimation Mil” will be about.

We have a number of shots focussing on Caleb and Tarima getting more intimate. My guess would be that this happens post episode six “Come, Let’s Away ”. Likely in episode eight, because we also know that this publicity shot is from that episode.

Also from episode eight is this publicity still, that appears to show the cadets using the Athena bridge to run a simulation, with Reno in the center seat.

I think “Come, Let’s Away” will have Nus Braka reappearing. There’s this shot of him talking to Ake in her office that hasn’t appeared on the show yet. We’ve also had several shots of the cadets in Calica gear standing on a deserted Athena bridge. Could this be from this episode as well and the cadets have to somehow save the day?

We have these two shots of people looking out at San Francisco or Earth being attacked, or at the very least showered by burning pieces of debris.

Looks like Genesis and Caleb will get closer as well.



And finally, there’s this publicity shot, which shows Ake holding a speech before both the Starfleet cadets and the War College. Behind her is what appears to be a destroyed starship. According to TrekCore this shot is from episode six.
