Rumors at trek movie's web site have said that the bridge will be smaller, and that the viewscreen will be huge (according to an unnamed source who claimed to see it.) No way to know if this is valid feedback.
A named source who has seen it (one of the actor's, I think) has stated that the new bridge looks like it was designed by the guys at Apple. Extremely functional and hi-tech.
That's all we really know, unless I missed something.
The bridge will feature a captain's chair, science station, communications station, helm/navigation station and a viewscreen. Oh, and the turbolift door will be off-set.
(Hey, guys... put those phasers down... look it's a joke and I'm not looking to start a.... )
I suspect we're going to see a bridge that is futuristic yet functional. I suspect there will be lots of metal and metallic accents, a mix of buttons and touch screens, lots of video monitors and blinking lights that actually look like they serve a purpose. I think it'll be very clean and not dramatically colorful the way TOS was. The layout won't change much - you'll have consoles lining the outer walls, the Captain's chair in the center, and the forward helm/nav stations.
