Spartacus, Camelot, Game of Thrones... what next?

Yes, James Purefoy is a annoyingly good looking man. He and Polly Walker in Rome were probably one of the sexiest TV couples on the screen at that time.

Hugo - Die screaming, you pig spawn trollop!!!! <Atia>

Rome, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Pillars of Earth, The Tudors, The Borgias are pretty good series especially on DVD as you can watch them withing a shorter period.

The sex in Spartacus is not necessarily more frequent but is more gratuitous than the other series. It gets better after the first few episodes and Gods of the Arena is very good (less melodramatic ). Violence too but its a gladiator story so you can't expect mainly only soap opera storylines and power plays.

Most of those series share an historical epic outlook with some grit and involve power plays (deceit, treachery, alliances, etc).
