Could you imagine the hysteria in here if the series had been canceled with Zero Hour?![]()
Jeez, ending the show stuck in an alternate reality with space Nazis taking over the world? That's like ending TOS halfway through "City on the Edge of Forever."Actually they really weren't sure there'd be a season four when they did "Zero Hour".
About which I am still majorly disgruntled. On the DVD extras, Scott Bakula is asked about it, and he says he'd have been cool with Enterprise ending on a cliffhanger because "Sam Beckett didn't get home, either"
Of course you do. However somehow they had to do it, and they did. It was inevitable..You CAN'T have a Trek prequel without Space Nazis.Actually, I think dealing with the Space Nazis took up valuable time that could have been better spent on other storylines in Season 4.
The show may have been more fondly remembered if it had ended on Zero Hour.
It would have been more awesome still without the fucking Space Nazis! Imo, of course.![]()

Probably misremembering this exhange:i remember someone on here quoted spock saying "national socialism was the best form of government." ???? is that really what he said?
Patterns of Force said:KIRK: Gill. Gill, why did you abandon your mission? Why did you interfere with this culture?
GILL: Planet fragmented. Divided. Took lesson from Earth history.
KIRK: But why Nazi Germany? You studied history. You knew what the Nazis were.
GILL: Most efficient state Earth ever knew.
SPOCK: Quite true, Captain. That tiny country, beaten, bankrupt, defeated, rose in a few years to stand only one step away from global domination.
KIRK: But it was brutal, perverted, had to be destroyed at a terrible cost. Why that example?
SPOCK: Perhaps Gill felt that such a state, run benignly, could accomplish its efficiency without sadism.
KIRK: Why, Gill? Why?
GILL: Worked. At first it worked. Then Melakon began take over. Used the. Gave me the drug.
