Hey, there was that ship that crashed on Talos IV, which when you think about it, probably was a barge. I'm switching my vote to the butthead alien.

The S.S. Columbia was an Earth-registered Federation science vessel on a survey mission of the Talos system, but yeah I used to think it was a cargo ship or freighter as well.

My first impression upon seeing the pics and video was that they were fighting on top of a Stargate Atlantis-style futuristic building, maybe one of those insanely huge superskyscrapers seen in future-San Fransisco.

But, now I've got this image of Spock and Cumberbunch fighting on the roof of one of the grain ships from the animated episode "More Tribbles, More Troubles", with Christopher Reeve Superman-style total immunity to the ravages of space.
