'South Park'

Can't wait to see what they're going to submit to Comedy Central for next week. I'm guessing it's going to be something "special". :wtf:

The blackboard writing on The Simpsons last night was "South Park -- We'd stand beside you if we weren't so scared."

Haha I watched most of that ep but managed to miss that. That's great.

On a side note, I loved the Shatner bit, where he started out as Star Trek I Shatner, and as he got fatter progressed on to Boston Legal Shatner.

Has the Simpsons done this before? That is react to a current event by changing the blackboard?
That has always been one of South Parks strengths, they can create a new show at the spur of a moment within about a weeks time, other animated shows have like a year lead in.

Looks like Matt and Trey took the high road (literally).

Yay for a Towelie ep! This could be an all-time favorite.

Towelie's girlfriend got pregnant and had a washcloth. lol

Before the big canoe race:

Nathan: "Good luck Jimmy."
Jimmy: "You too, Nathan."
Nathan: "You're going to need it, you fucking asshole."

Nathan and Mimsy are the two best characters introduced on South Park in a long time.

Classic episode. :techman:

"Mimsyyyyyy!!!"

P.S. I was glad to see the promo that Comedy Central is going to start airing It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I've never thought that FX showed it nearly enough beyond the original airings.

I didn't think tonight's episode was very good at all. A couple chuckles but that's about it. Not because it was offensive, just because it was lame :p The Special Olympics episode from a few years ago was much better than this. "Jimmy? Were you masterbating?" "No dad, Jesus Christ!" "Alright. There's a girl here to see you."

I wasn't a big fan of the Towelie part of this episode besides Cartman's huge speech about Jews, but I thought Nathan and Mimsy were great characters and I hope they appear in future episodes.

Just noticed on the re-airing that once, early in the ep, they mistakenly spelled it "Towlie". Ha!

Did anyone else get that some of the kids at the camp (including Nathan and Mimsy) seemed to be based on Looney Tunes characters?

I wonder what inspired Matt and Trey to base many of the Blue Team kids on old cartoon characters? I noticed a Porky Pig-like kid, a Droopy Dog, and a few others.
