Sony Spider-Verse discussion thread

doesn't help when they film on public streets lmao

The suit, at least the little bit they showed reminds me of the Toby McGuire Suit

Not just Mark Ruffalo but Michael Mando's return as Mac Gargan as the Scorpion is also confirmed.

I'm always for more Mark Ruffalo's Banner but I'm especially happy Mando is finally return to reprise the role in full earnest. I've been a big fan of his since Better Call Saul and I look forward to seeing him sink his teeth in this role.

Now I can't help but wonder if J.K. Simmons also returns or if they'll do a different origin.

I'm glad to hear that we'll be getting more Hulk/Banner, he's always been one of my favorite MCU characters.
I was shocked we were getting a teaser already, but then when I realized what it actually was it made sense. I'm still glad to at least get a little something to start to get us hyped for it.
I watched the first episode of Eyes of Wakanda, and I liked a lot. My only real complaint is that
Wakanda from 12something BC, doesn't really seem all that different from Wakanda of today.

Well, instead of leaks, here are some announcements

He's actually been rumored since May

Rehearsals are tomorrow for the start of the Glasgow/NYC sequences, they aren't going to be able to hide some of the cast or characters for much longer.

Tom Holland "It’s day one, my fourth ever day one on ‘Spider-Man [...] "It’s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It’s also the first time we ever had fans on set day one, so it’s really exciting to share this with them."

So one might say it's a...Brand New Day One? ;)

Did anyone ever put up a dedicated review thread to Venom: the last dance? This afternoon, I had the house to myself and wanted to watch something undemanding that I wouldn’t get annoyed if I had to interrupt it or could half watch. So I opted for this. Again, as with the first two, it benefits from the triumph of low expectations. If you didn’t like them, you won’t like this. And if you liked them, you should enjoy this, though it’s probably the weakest of the three and doesn’t add an awful lot. But as before, the banter between Hardy and his symbiote makes it watchable, more so than the CGI or action scenes did. Seeing as Havoc disproved my theory that Hardy can make any movie watchable, the Venom films must have some merit of their own, all the same.

Can only guess that the makers are Ted Lasso fans, given some of the appearances here.

Without giving away too much, the ending is actually quite affecting.

Ì also saw it, and can agree eith what you said...we paid money to see it in theater... but your standards make more sense for this movie.

Oh, and I am thinking that for any Sony movies other than with Tom Holland, I don't think anyone else cares about spoilers about non Spidey spiderverse movies
