I hope that as long as Kurtzman Era Trek continues, it'll continue to give me at least one series I'm into. If not, no hard feelings. It's been a great ride.
If the merger leads to a new era (maybe it will, maybe it won't), then -- I'm saying upfront -- I don't plan on going into the 4th Wave of Star Trek with the expectation that it'll be like Kurtzman Trek or Berman Trek or Roddenberry Trek. It'll be whatever it'll be, and I'll judge it on its own terms.
Not that I expect a lot of other people in these circles to have the same mindset.
