Sons of Mogh - Lip synch problem

I've just watched Sons of Mogh for the first time on R1 DVD and was disappointed to see the whole episode suffers from a lip synching problem - the dialogue is noticeably ahead of the video the entire show. Looking around I see this wasn't the case for the R2, but was this problem ever corrected for the R1 discs?

I just checked my disc to see if it had the same problem. I didn't notice any lip synch problems. It might be a defect on your copy. If you still can you might want to return the DVDs and try to exchange them for a different copy.

No, mine has the same problem. I recall quite a few folks had the problem when the DVDs first came out.

Still, I only ever notice it whenever Sisko gets his shout on.

Thanks, glad to hear it's not just mine! I have to say, it bothered me most of the episode, once I'd noticed it for the first time it was a bit distracting

Thanks for checking, both! Do you have the R1 discs or from another region? And does anyone know if this was ever fixed for the R1 sets?
