Songs that remind you of characters

Are there any non-Trek related songs that remind you of characters from the original series? Lately Megan Thee Stallion's song Body has made clips of Kirk play in my head :)

I have only one piece of non-Trek music that makes me think of the characters: "Hoffa Trailer" from the Hoffa soundtrack by David Newman. When I play it, I see the imaginary trailer for a better Star Trek movie than the ones we actually got. :bolian:

From a letter printed in the collection The Best of Trek (1977):

One convention had a Spock Music video
"I still haven't found what I'm looking for..."

Somewhere along the line, the Neil Sedaka / Elton John song "Bad Blood" got linked to "Amok Time." There might be a fan-made music video or something, I can't remember. The song is a damn good fit for the episode, too.

“Night on Bald Mountain” for Alternative Universe Kahless Battle Music?

Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons; Spring” for Vash’s Riza Frolicking Music?

Gee, I wonder for whom that might be? :guffaw:

You guys really think I would have chosen something different?

Not TOS, but the lyrics for "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image sound like they could be about the NX-01 Enterprise. Granted, the opening line "Seventy-three men ..." doesn't fit Archer's complement of 83, but it's pretty darn close.

How about "seventy-three men, eight women, one Vulcan, and one Denobulan"?

"It's Gonna Take a Miracle" - for the Galaxy-Saving Crisis presented to the Captain and Crew.

For your consideration: Hendorf, Kaplan, Mallory and Marple from THE APPLE with musical commentary from Queen's ''Another One Bites the Dust.'' (Good for any episode with a crew body-count of three or more, basically.)

'O my Heart' by Mother Mother is a Spock song to me....lyrics:

Oh my heart, it's a fish out of water
Oh my heart, it's a fish on the rocks and it bakes in the bad sun
Oh my heart, it's a rock in the gutter
Oh my heart, it's a rocking great boulder and stuck in the gutter
And I throw my heart back to the ocean
But it don't go far it come back floating
And I watch it wash up with the dead fish
But it ain't quite dead it just is lifeless

Oh my heart, it's a house in tornado
Oh my heart, it's a house in the sky in the eye of tornado
Oh my heart, it's a roof in El Niño
Oh my heart, it's a roof made of straw in the jaw of El Niño
And I pour my heart a new foundation
But it don't set hard it just stays shaking
And I scratch my name, I scratch my name in
But it don't set hard it gets mixed back in

Oh my heart, it's fish out of water
Oh my heart, it's a rock in the gutter
Oh my heart, it's a black in a rainbow
Oh my heart, it's so damn cold
So damn cold
And I throw my heart into the fire
'Cause I want to set my heart on fire
And I watch it try befriending embers
But the ice don't melt in mid December
Oh my heart, it's a fish out of water
Oh my heart, it's a fish on the rocks and it bakes in the bad sun

And 'Space Girl' by Frances Forever, while it doesn't relate to any particular Star Trek character, has very strong TOS vibes...in fact it was inspired by the show....lyrics:

Space Girl, show me the stars
You know the galaxies of my heart
Girl, are you a cancer?
'Cause you make me cry
When we kiss or dance in the sky
We're dancing in the sky
Space Girl, I saw a lunar eclipse
Looked like how I feel 'bout your lips
Space Girl, the only way that we'd end
Was if you were sucked into a black hole
But I'd still spend my days dreaming 'bout you (ooh)
Dreaming bout you (ooh)
Tell me how to (ooh)
Stop dreaming bout you (ooh)
Girl, are you a cancer?
'Cause you make me cry (cry)
When we kiss or dance (dance) in the sky (in the sky)
We're dancing in the sky (in the sky)
I hope (hope, hope)
You (you, you)
Play (play)
This song (song, song)
Someday (some, some, day)
And think (think, think)
Of (of, of)
Earth Girl (Earth Girl)
Who loves (love, love, love, love)
Space Girl (Space Girl)
I hope (hope, hope)
You (you, you)
Play (play)
This song (song, song)
Someday (some, some, day)
And think (think, think)
Of (of, of)
Earth Girl (Earth Girl)
Who loves (love, love, love, love)
Space Girl (Space Girl)
I hope (hope, hope)
You (you, you)
Play (play)
This song (song, song)
Someday (some, some, day)
