From any point in your life, or right now what fun songs do you remember that were fun, a little quirky, and odd.

I'll post Star Trekkin because I still have the 12 inch vinyl of this.

Agadoo by Black Lace
Apolcalypso by Mental As Anything.

Yes, it was the Volkswagen commercial that introduced it to me, but Trio's "Da Da Da" fits this quite well. It was very quirky and odd:

Not sure if its urban legend but they got the song beat off a Casio calculator / music keyboard.

I remember that being on the radio, believe it or not. Also the follow-up, "Boom Boom."

Which reminds me of another that was decidedly odd, especially to hear on FM radio c. 1983:

My favorite song is funnier now than when I memorized it at 11 because now I know I'm gay.

She fed me strawberries
And freezer-burned ice cream
I said "Goodbye, I guess"
She lifted up her dress
And so I must confess,
We made out one more
Time before I left for good
She thought I'd come back but I
Wouldn't want to seem like other guys
A book-and-record love,
We sat and read our books,
Between those longing looks,
Compounded by our fear,
My tongue inside her ear,
My tongue inside her

"Dancing Queen," by ABBA.

It was perhaps the first song from the radio I learned to sing as a kid, although I think I only knew the chorus (or at least the main part of it) at the time.

"Rasputin" used to be a staple at science fiction conventions in the Pacific Northwest. Danced to it many a time.

"Rah-Rah-Rasputin,
"Lover of the Russia queen . . .."
