Songs From »The Way To Eden«

^^^
Why does Satan get such a bad rap? The Angel didn't wanna stay at "Daddies" house, so he moved out and got his own place (there's a heat problem though).

Moonves is so evil that somewhere...in the shadows in an undisclosed location...the old Zodiac killer gets a chill up his spine for a reason he can never pin down.

^ ooooooo

Moonves is so evil that Lord Voldimort took lessons from him.

* This could be a fun new game *

You know scarey though that the actor who played Adam in that episode (This way to Eden) went on to do alot of series and guest spots on other series. (notably the Blues brothers) as the redneck Cowboy Band Leader. A few Love Boat appearances too...

That will always be my favorite episode. Spock and the chick getting down... And you can tell on Nimoy's face he was getting totally into it.

Spock: "One. One is the beginning"
Dr. Severn: "We are one."
Adam: "We Reach!"

The space hippie protest "Herbert, Herbert, Herbert!" is a gag, referring to Trek director Herb Wallerstein and executive producer Herb Solow. (Spock tells Kirk that Herbert is an official in Federation history known for his "rigid patterns of thought")

some trivia there.

Nathaniel...

The ironic thing is that Charles Napier (Adam) went from playing a "space hippie" to becoming typecast as tough, grizzled authority figures diametrically opposed to Adam's type.

By the way, one of those tough authority figures Napier played was a hardbitten, xenophobic military man who appeared in an episode or two of Superman: The Animated Series and later in Justice League Unlimited. In the former, he was reunited with fellow space hippie Victor Brandt (Tongo Rad), who played Professor Hamilton, another staid authority figure.

Tangential: My favorite Charles Napier line is "...'cause you're gonna look pretty goddamn funny tryin' to eat corn-on-the-cob with NO FUCKING TEETH!"

What a range! Hippie Adam to the head of the Good Ol' Boys in about a decade! :D
The Blues Brothers is one of my favorite films. It really was some of his best work.

I always love the cheesy way Comedy Central and other basic cable channels edit out the Napier line about the teeth and change it to something even sillier. They don't even get an overdub that SOUNDS like Napier's voice.
