Songs for Trek books

JD

Fleet Admiral

I saw this a while back during a breif time that I was going to the Star Wars official message boards, and I thought it would be kind fun to do it for Trek Lit.
So what songs do you guys think would be a good match for the series, and/or characters in Trek Lit?
I haven't been able to up with any myself, but I thought I'd see what you guys came up with.

Kirk: "I'm Too Sexy"
Spock: "It's Logic"
McCoy: "I Want A New Drug"
Scotty: "Countin' On A Miracle"
Sulu: "Time For Me to Fly"
Uhura: "Call Me"
Chekov: "Excuse Me While I Scream"

The Enterprise theme song should have been Led Zeppelin's Kashmir . . . "I am a traveller of both time and space . . ."

The Defiant's theme song should be "Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth (for the chorus, of course -- "Now you're messin' with a sonuvab!tch...").

Based on First Contact, the theme song for Enterprise should've been "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf. Choosing any other song was pure folly, IMO.

Considering the song they ultimately did choose, yes, utter folly...
