Something odd in Wrath of the Prophets (DS9 #20) *Spoilers*

Maybe I read it wrong, but did anyone seem to think that Sisko and Quark were the only ones on the Defiant when it investigated the Orions? And Quark was piloting it? Seems a bit odd. Good novel otherwise though.

Vague memories since I don't have the book with me ATM, but I do recall those two going on a mission together, and I don't remember any other crew being mentioned. Quark was definitely involved as they tried to avoid pursuers.

I know Defiant was small by starship standards, but it does seem odd to be run by two people.

As you say, good book otherwise.

I read this book when it was new and I loathed it. I just thought the entire thing was terrible. And I was so excited to read about Kira and Ro interacting. And so disappointed by the book itself. Thankfully they got them right in the post DS9 series.

The only thing I remember about the book anymore is Kira and Ro! I thinkk they were the best part, but yeah, they're even better in the relaunch novels.

I think you read it wrong. That was never out intent. And while I remain pleased with the final book, I'm sorry to see that it disappointed others.
