Apparently there's a sudden political swing in the US... to the middle. Worse, it's being supported by the sort of amused sarcastic humour one would normally expect from Brits.
Apparently this guy (Job Stewart) is trying to organise some political rallies before the forthcoming US elections and is urging people to support with such wonderful placards as:
"I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler"
"9/11 was an outside job"
"I'm not afraid of Muslims, Tea Partiers, Socialists, Immigrants, Gun Owners or Gays ... but I am scared of spiders."
"Take it Down a Notch For America"
This approach to calm, reasonable debate without hype, paranoia or even clippings from the daily mail is so unutterably refreshing I can't help but wonder...
what would it cost to get this guy posting in TNZ?
