Chris, that's a wonderful post. And it goes to show what a beautiful person Chase is. Please don't beat yourself up over what others might think of your experiences. You're not crazy. It's a beautiful story and I'm glad she met you and gave you the boost of confidence you needed at that time in your life, and that she continues to show her heart for people by spending time with you beyond conventions. That's very cool. I'll have to check out some of the films you mentioned. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you both. And Dub, I've had some "OMG, you're so sad, loser!" comments in real life about my conventioning (not many, but a few) so just wanted to let those people know right from the start that there's no way they can make me feel bad about this. It's been such a wonderful journey!
