So I was working an artist's alley table at a anime/comics convention in Tulsa this past weekend, and I hadn't had a decent shot of caffeine that first day, and these were a couple of the results...

Second pic, so gay. I mean, it's well drawn, and even kinda cute in a chibi sort of way. But short of copulating with someone of your own gender, this is as gay as it gets.

The design of the piece is something of an homage to the "Caramelldansen" YouTube meme that's been circulating, which basically exists as videos of super-deformed versions of anime characters dancing to a WAY-too-bouncy Swedish dance-pop song, an example of which I offer here:

You know, this link is the first I've ever seen this video. And yet, before seeing it, that was exactly the very dance moves I had imagined chibi Kirk and Spock doing.

So kudos for conjuring a sense of movement in a still drawing.
