I don't see McAvoy as Scotty, I really don't... doesn't even slightly resemble Doohan.

On the other hand, I can't agree with the idea that a 5'7" guy can't hold his own in a fight. A smaller guy just has to fight with a different style, that's all... and I've seen plenty of times that the "littler guy" in a confrontation was the one to come out on-top. Speed and agility beats bulk and inertia every time.
